I don’t know if you’ve ever hopped on Dr Google or done a search on social media before…

But if you search for something like say for example “are carbs bad” or “how many meals should I eat per day to lose fat” you’ll receive a truckload of different answers and results. Which is cool in hindsight…

BUT. The bummer is that 9 times out of 10 your answers will contradict each other as you jump from page to page.

And all this will do is leave you more confused than when you jumped on to search, meaning that you’ll likely feel more bummed and frustrated and continue in your normal patterns that are keeping you stuck.

This is a shit scenario and I hate it because this is exactly how things were for me years ago.

What I wanted to do was craft together a collection of the biggest most asked about health and fitness myths on Google, and bust every single one of them in a raw and real video so that it gives you clarity and certainty over what may be keeping you stuck, why its a problem and how to move past it.

This is going to be a 2 part series so take away what you can from this one by either watching the whole video OR take note of the certain myths that i’m busting at certain times ie 6:17 is where you’ll hear me talk about the myth that lifting in a fasted state will damage your muscles; that way you can skip ahead to what will be most valuable or relevant to you.

1:45—Stop Binge Eating by not buying or keeping your trigger foods in the house

3:11—Don’t eat after 7pm or your food will be stored as body fat

4:14—You must consume protein 30 minutes after a workout to avoid muscle loss

5:11— Eating Carbs make you fat

6:17— Lifting in a fasted state will damage your muscles

7:42— Going Keto is the best diet around for faster fat loss

9:02— Lifting makes women look like muscular men

10:45— Must eat 5/6 meals a day to boost metabolism

12:10— Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

13:24— High reps to tone, low reps to bulk

15:00— Don’t skip meals or your metabolism will slow down

15:58— All calories aren’t created equal

17:21— Eating sugar causes fat gain

18:29— Calories don’t matter if you’re eating clean

20:17— Dont eat fat because it makes you fat

21:29— Fruits and veggies are free foods

22:39— You can turn fat into muscle

23:42— Detoxes are legitimate and should be done regularly

25:19— Cardio is the best way to lose body fat

27:57— Your metabolism will slow naturally as you age

29:08— Starvation Mode exists

29:52— Muscle weighs more than fat

30:14— You can eat whatever you want as long as you exercise frequently

31:48— Don’t lift heavy when you’re trying to lose weight

 

And there we go a serious dosage of myth busting action!

I’ll tell you what, I wish I was taught and shown this at the start of my transformation. Would have saved me loads of time, money, turmoil, and confusion that’s for sure!
